Video games are big business worldwide. Who do you know that doesn't have at least one gaming system? There are so many different kinds marketed that dedicated gamers often own two or three game systems and a PC-plus a handheld device or two. Games fill the shelves in their rooms and spill out onto the floor. Games are high, too. Video game software is a $9.5 billion industry and growing! At $40 or $50-or more-a pop, when you pay good money for a game, you should get your money's worth.

You do not have to sell a game after you have beaten it, you know. With cheats, you can play a game over and over and change things every time. You can make a game harder, easier, less frustrating, or more difficult. You can even move ahead levels if you want to. Depending on the game, there are lots of things you can do to make replaying a game fun. You can make your character invincible and speed through a game destroying everything in your path, or you can make it more of a challenge by having every character in the game gunning for you.

There are cheats to change the feel of the game, mess with characters appearances, and bend the laws of nature. You can give yourself unlimited access to things you need, like health, guns, and wealth, too. With almost every game ever made, cheats give you the freedom to alter the way the game plays out. And it's all cool. Cheats are not cheating; they increase the value of a game by letting you play it several times and keep it interesting.

If you think you are through with a game, think again! Even the oldest video games have cheats-and there are lots of sources listing them. Entire books are published just listing game cheats. There are also magazines and online sites full of these codes. So before you get rid of a game, unlock it!
