MLM Network Marketing Lead Generation Strategies

To build a MLM network marketing business, you need an effective lead generation strategy. Your success is based on your ability to find a consistent supply of people to expose to your opportunity on a daily basis.

A MLM network marketing lead can be generated yourself or it can be purchased from a lead vendor. For the purposes of this article we are talking about lead vendor generated leads.

When you purchase a lead from a company, the information that it comes with varies based on the type and the company. Some leads only have a name and email address. Other leads have survey questions and answers where they ask the person a number of questions so that you can have an idea of what their interest level is.

When purchasing leads, the most important factor is the quality. As a general rule, the more money you invest per lead, the better the quality you should receive. That sounds good in theory but it is not always so. That is why it is important that you test the leads you buy and track your results.

For example, if you are spending $3 per leads, yet you find that you are not getting any better results than the lead that you were spending $1 per leads, stop buying the $3 leads. You would be better off investing that extra $2 per leads in more $1 leads than throwing it away in a lead that isn't a higher quality.

Of course, if you notice that the $3 leads is a much higher quality than the $1 leads, it may be worth it to invest in the $3 leads. The reason why is because the $3 leads should allow you to talk to a fewer amount of people than what would be required if you purchased the $1 leads.

So how do you find good leads to work with? I think one of the best ways is to ask other distributors in your network marketing company what lead provider they use. In particular, if you see someone is having good success and they are using leads, you definitely want to know what lead company and type they are using.

For instance, I noticed that one of my friends literally doubled her typical recruiting numbers. I asked her what she was doing and she shared with me the lead vendor that she was using.

Just keep in mind that leads alone are not the only factor into your recruiting success. Your consistency in calling the leads, the posture you demonstrate on the telephone as well as a host of other factors determine how well you recruit.
