MLM lead generation should be at the forefront of any MLM business because in order to succeed in the industry, there has to be a constant flow of new people coming into your business. The question is whether you will be recruiting offline or online for your business. There are many advantages to both platforms; it's really just about figuring out which one is a better fit for you.
Offline marketing is considered the "old school" approach to MLM lead generation where you will be focusing on home meetings, one on one meetings at coffee shops, going to networking events and really getting yourself out there and meeting new people. A simple suggestion would be to check out realtor signs and advertisements...maybe someone's phone number on a billboard. You want to keep your options open to finding any new, capable prospects that will have the energy to grow and build your new opportunity. Focus on people with a track record of success and stay away from the whiners and tire kickers. All they will do is waste your time...trust me.
Using online strategies for your MLM lead generation is a completely different approach. This is the "new school" approach to building a massive team with your MLM business. If you take to heart the concept of "attraction marketing," which is attracting qualified prospects to you credit card in hand because of how you present yourself as a leader, then online MLM lead generation can be an extremely powerful approach to building your business. When certain skills are learned, there really is no telling how many qualified prospects you will be able to get into your business on a monthly, weekly or even daily basis.
There are plenty of free methods in the form of video marketing (YouTube), article marketing (just like I'm doing right now), blogging, forums and getting on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Learn the skills to bring a constant flow of qualified leads to your business and you are on your way to the top.
Now if your budget is large enough to utilize paid strategies such as pay per click, it's not uncommon to bring in 50+ leads a day to your business, which is going to be pretty hard to come by offline. Again, the only drawback of online MLM lead generation is learning the skills that are going to bring this type of lead generation to your business.
A piece of advice if you decide to move to marketing online: be sure not to spread yourself too thin. Master one strategy and then move on to another. Do not take on 3 or 4 different strategies at once because you will not give each strategy the attention it needs to start producing high daily lead counts.
So, whether you decide to focus on offline or online strategies to build your MLM business, massive action will be the name of the game if you plan on succeeding.
