Lucky Bamboo plants care tips are very easy and do not require too much time from the owner. In fact, these plants can grow for years without much effort from the owner. There are no known pests that attack the plant. They are also tough plants since they can survive with many or little water.

It is best to grow Lucky Bamboo in bowls with moist pebbles and a little water. The water must be let sit for about a day before placing it in the bowl, so that its chlorine and fluoride content will evaporate. It should be placed in areas without direct sunlight. It is really an easy to grow plant but if you want to make it glow, you can add plant foods that are usually added in aquariums. Added nutrients from the plant food will help your Lucky Bamboo. Lucky Bamboo is regarded as a bearer of good fortune in Chinese Feng Shui. It is said that the Chinese word for bamboo and prayer are phonetically similar, which leads to the belief of increasing the power of prayer while taking care of a Lucky Bamboo inside the house. Not many people know that the Lucky Bamboo they have in their homes is not a member of the bamboo plant family. It is actually a house plant called Dracaena. It can be made into a number of presentations such as the three bamboo shoots called 3 Shoots, eight stalks of varying height called Forest Bowl, and the original Lucky Bamboo, four stems that are tied together with a red ribbon. Latest presentations include the Great Wall of Chi that is made of about six stalks tied together to form a wall.
