Low Impact Fat Burning Workout For Your Back - Don't Let It Stop You Being In Great Shape

Expert Author Johnny Palmer

A low impact workout is vital when burning fat if you have a bad back. It can be excruciatingly painful to have a bad back, let alone having to do a workout and bearing with the pain. Here is a low impact workout, plus a few ideas for strengthening your back to get you in great shape.

Strengthening your back:

It is best to use a physician or specialists advice when strengthening your back, but doing weight lifting workouts with very light weights can help to build your back strength. Exercises such as good mornings and dead lifts are great, same with pull ups.

Isometric exercises can be quite good as well, your physician can prescribe these and the tools to do them.

Low Impact Fat Burning Workout for Bad Back:

  • Elliptical machine workout - 15 minutes
  • Treadmill speed walk with machine on full incline - 10 minutes
  • Exercycle workout - increase speed every minute for 10 minutes

These are the best exercises for low joint and bone impact as there are no rough movements. I seriously advise asking a medical profession first about this though.  Everybody has different thresholds they can work to, yours may not be high enough to do this workout. Although strengthening the back is key, it may seem counterproductive to do do back exercises with weights, but if you just use light weights then get enough sleep, eat well and don't workout too often, you can regain the mobility of your back if it is a case of weak lumbar.

If you are serious about burning fat, just know that exercise is a major part, but nutrition is the other half. If you ignore one, the other is not too much good. If you are serious, let me help you starting today.
