Do you want to learn how to hypnotize someone? So, what is Hypnosis, you may ask, and how do you go about learning hypnotism.
To understand what you can do through Hypnosis you must first get a clear grasp in your mind of the fundamental and subtle differences in the basic principals of how it is used in everyday life.
You can see Hypnosis in use literally daily, but having two very different applications in practical terms and you must clearly understand all about these differences before you try to use any form of this special science.
The first type of hypnotism that is usually seen by the public in their daily life is Direct Hypnosis. When two or more people discuss the topic of hypnotism, this is usually what they are talking about.
The use of Direct Hypnosis is always very visible and clearly obvious to everyone that is observing it as it happens.
You will see this type being used on stage and television by Hypnotists. You can also see it employed by Hypnotists who use conventional hypnotherapy to help someone to lose weight, to stop smoking or to cure a phobia.
People getting treated by a Hypnotist will be overtly put into a trance and the proposed habit changing ideas are then suggested to the their sub-conscious mind.
Less known, but still widely used, is the other kind of Hypnotism which is called Indirect Hypnosis.
The targets of Indirect Hypnosis never know what's happening to them. They will still be put into a trance by the Hypnotist, but the kind of trance imposed won't cause the victim to appear to be asleep, where he or she closes the eyes and makes a direct connection with the Hypnotist.
Generally, this happens without the victim having any inkling of being under the spell of the Hypnotist.
One of the common terms in use for Indirect Hypnotism is Conversational Hypnosis. Sometimes, when people use the phrase Covert Hypnosis they are referring to Conversational Hypnotism.
In basic terms, Conversational Hypnosis is the ability to know the correct method of inducing a trance in someone by using everyday conversation and getting him or her to do things that you want them to, without them being aware that they are doing it.
The principal feature of Conversational Hypnosis that must be remembered is that it still sticks to the standard conventional principles of the more common type of Direct Hypnosis.
Conversational Hypnosis has one distinguishing feature, which is that the victim appears to be fully awake and totally aware of everything that's going on.
A casual observer would genuinely think that they were witnessing a normal conversation between two people.
You must understand that when someone is hypnotized, you are dealing with their unconscious mind and their moral and ethical beliefs are solidly placed in this part of their minds hidden depths.
Try as you may, but you will not get anybody to break their ethical or moral principles under hypnosis.
Do you think that this means that it's impossible for you to use Hypnosis to convince someone to carry out your every wish?
Not at all!
