There are many things that can be done to both handle these attacks and prevent them, which is what individuals should do in order to prevent this from becoming a disorder.

The first thing that must be done when learning how to handle panic attacks is determine whether or not you are truly having an attack. When you believe you are having an attack, make sure that you visit your doctor in order to make sure that it is not a more serious health problem.

Sometimes, the shortness of breath that you will experience can be the result of a heart attack or a blood clot, so making sure that you are not experiencing one of these should be your first priority.

Once you are certain that what you have been experiencing are panic attacks, you can begin the process of how to handle panic attacks. The first thing that you must do is find a quiet place where you can isolate yourself from others. It is best if this area is outside or near a window, as fresh air can definitely help.

Make sure that you do everything in your power to relax by taking deep breaths and focusing on something else. By focusing on things that make you happy, you can definitely take some of the edge off and decrease the effects.

It is also important to reassure yourself that this attack will not last forever. This can be a scary situation, so learning how to handle panic attacks includes teaching yourself that you will not die from this attack. Getting a lot of sleep is also very important, as those who are well rested are considerably less prone to these attacks.

If none of this helps or if it's frequent, it might be time to consider medication.

Keep in mind, however, that this is not really how to handle panic attacks, but is rather a method of dealing with symptoms. Basically, these medications will reduce the amount of anxiety that you are feeling, but they will not eliminate the occurrence of these attacks as a whole.

In some bases, cognitive behavior therapy is also a good solution, as this will help you to see what is causing these attacks and give you the power to eliminate them from your life.

Find out how I manage to handle panic attacks easily everytime I feel the wave coming, and never afraid of them coming back again..

The above methods are probably the best way to learn how to handle panic attacks because it will give you the tools to relax and deal with these problems from the inside, rather than simply treating the symptoms - Always remember, it's the root of proper panic attacks treatment that matters, not medications.
