Learn How to Master a New Craft!

Expert Author Peter M Olsen

You are unemployed, lost your job or are retired? Your savings and your 401K are somewhat or totally depleted? You don't have any Health (sick) Insurance? You want to end it but you don't even have any Life (death) Insurance?

Right now, here in the United States, as in most of the industiralized countries and developing countries, the present and the future don't look very promising? A majority of the world's renown economists and analysts are writing and expounded about the coming downturn world situation. We, that is, those with a job, savings and benefits have overspent ourselves. The economists and analysts term it Discretionary Spending. Webster defines it as: left to one's discretion; regulated by one's own choice. But because we have failed to understand how much we can spend, many of us can be termed Spendthrifts. You can look this word up in your Webster dictionary?

So, what does one do without a job, savings gone, no insurance and a bleak future? Well, some remain seated on their sofa, micro manage and complain about the government conditions and the leadership. While others take action in the world of Network Marketing. They know that their continued action will lead them to success, because success is not luck, it is a science. This is not an easy profession to enter. One just has to look at the statistics. Over 97% of those who are excited and start, usually give up and quit after a short time. That is why you have to learn and master a new craft!

My own experience is one of trial and error, reading volumes of Internet information, writing articles, cold calling, attending seminars, sitting in on webinars, buying every tape and DVD that was offered on the subject of Internet and Network Marketing and grabbing the bull by the horns and digging in! The problem with Internet Marketing and Network Marketing is that they are relatively new and finding someone who understands both and is willing to teach and train you is pretty difficult. This is very similar to when you get a new job in retail, industry, sales or any other field, there too, you will never get the training you need to succeed. You will have to learn how to master a new craft!

I am 73 and I have been there and have done that! I think I know what I am writing about. Dig in, sweat it out, hang tight and hope maybe after five, six, seven months, you might get a small check that will raise up your moral and will be a sort of downpayment for your 24/7 toil.

Do not attempt to sell anyone anything! You have to first introduce yourself to them. People don't like dealing with strangers, but when they get to know the sales person, they then feel they can and will do business with him or her.

An Internet Marketing program I am with, has three steps to success!

The first is get tons of leads at no cost. Don't buy any! You can do this by writing articles, writing a newsletter and by inserting a PPC (pay per click) ad on Google or one of the other SEs(search engines).

The second is to brand yourself, not with a hot iron, but by writing articles, publishing a newsletter and a Blog.

The third step is to join the affiliate program earn cash quickly!

I am not really that old, but I do remember an old radio program entitled, "Fibber McGee and Molly". One of Molly's famous lines was, "It ain't easy McGee!"
