Lead Capture Pages - How to Generate Your Own High Quality Leads

The old school model of Network Marketing consists of making a names list, the 3 foot rule and talking to everyone you know about your opportunity. They have you make a names list of 100+ people and try to convince them to join your company. This model is structured so that you are systematically going after your leads rather than your leads coming to you. You become a salesman with a pitch rather than someone offering value to the prospect with what you have to offer. There is nothing wrong with doing things this way and many people have had great success using these methods; but, why not work smarter instead of harder and generate tons of qualified leads in the meantime.

Lead capture pages are just one of many ways you can start generating your own targeted quality leads on-line while simultaneously building relationships with these prospects. You can become their coach, mentor and consultant offering value based information they can utilize in their business and their lives. The old model still works for some people and there is nothing wrong with this approach, but if you have been struggling to build your organization, attraction based marketing may be just what your business needs.

In order to build relationships, you need to communicate with your prospects on a regular basis. It takes time to develop and nurture relationships with the contacts you make. Sales do not happen overnight. People need to believe you are offering something of value to them. You need to be offering them a service and they need to connect with you first as someone they can trust. Sending people to a website and waiting for them to contact you doesn't work. They don't know you and have no vested interest in what you have to show them. How many times has someone contacted you and asked to please join your opportunity because they visited your website? Chances are they visited the site, clicked around for a few minutes and then left, never to return. Most people only spend a few seconds when visiting a website and then leave.

For online prospecting and team building, a lead capture page and a good follow-up system are highly effective. Lead capture pages are designed to do just one thing. Getting the readers to want more. Your page should direct them to fill in their name and e-mail address or other contact information. Once you have your prospects' contact information, you can continue to market to them until they opt-out of your e-mail campaign. In this model, the prospect has asked for information and has given you permission to contact them. Now you can build a solid, trusting relationship by offering your prospect free or inexpensive quality information regularly through e-mail. You have effectively built a warm market on-line.

Why not just use a company replicated website? Most companies build their site for brand recognition and loyalty and not for gathering information. Customers or prospects who do sign up directly through your site now have a relationship with the company and not you. Another reason for not using the company replicated site - they usually contain way too much information, causing the prospect or customer to become confused and leave before purchasing anything or checking out the opportunity. They may intend to come back later but usually never do and you have just lost a great contact. Using your own lead capture website page also enables you to build trusting relationships outside of your network marketing opportunity so you can keep these contacts for years or for life, even if you decide to leave your current company.

You now have a list of prospects that you can market to no matter what business you decide to join.

The old model of networking focuses on handing out flyers, catalogs and cold calling pre-purchased opportunity leads. All methods that put the prospect in control. You are now waiting for them to call you or follow through and make contact with you through your website or by phone. You might get a few prospects this way but if you have been doing this for some time now without the results you were hoping for, then utilizing this new approach will put you in control. With a little more effort (but not any more effort than you are currently putting forth with the old model), your focus can now be on collecting your prospects information day and night while you are sleeping, eating, reading or working. Done correctly, you will receive high quality targeted leads that are looking for what you have to offer. Network Marketing is evolving and you need to move forward with it so you are not left behind.

Take back control and build lasting relationships with a lead capture page and an ever expanding prospect list.
