Latest Advances in Steam Cleaners

Steam cleaners have come a long way since their initial invention in Italy. Manufacturers and suppliers of steam cleaners are continually working to develop advanced technologies to integrate with their machines. Recently, there are two highly advantageous advances in steam cleaning machines: anti-bacterial technology and mobile steam car wash configurations.

Many operators of steam cleaners are wowed by the results these machines provide. The high temperatures aid in the breakdown of stains while agitation with a towel or brush quickly and easily remove stains and other residues for most surfaces. In fact, the use of the ultra-high steam temperatures up to 360ºF makes that task of dissolving hard-to-remove substances quick and easy. While this high temperature is very effective for sanitizing purposes, the addition of anti-bacterial technology is required to eliminate most bacteria and other disease causing pathogens.

In terms of killing bacteria, it is essential to purchase machines that are certified anti-bacterial vapor steam cleaners. Unlike other machines which may claim to remove bacteria, these machines are certified to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria, mold, mildew, and other harmful microorganisms.

Some of these robust steam cleaners even feature HEPA filtration. The addition of a HEPA filter provides an additional layer of protection against air-born allergens. The combination of anti-bacterial technology and HEPA filters provides users with the ability to vastly improve the safety of the indoor environment and the indoor air quality. Advances in steam cleaning technologies have not only affected indoor users. One of the most widely practiced outdoor applications for steam cleaners is auto detailing. For this purpose, steam cleaning machines have been transformed to fit the more rugged needs of these users.

Mobile steam car wash machines feature much higher pressure levels than standard steam cleaners. These higher levels are required to effectively remove deposits on vehicle exteriors. But, what makes these car detailing steam cleaners most effective is the combination of high pressure levels with super-high temperature steam, up to 330ºF. This combination allows users to virtually melt away mud, dirt, soil, grease, oil, tree sap, tar, bugs, and a host of other substances that detract from your vehicle's appearance with ease. Users can even use these powerful steam cleaning machines to melt snow and ice during troublesome winter months.

Unlike conventional pressure washing machines which may be used for auto detailing, mobile steam car wash equipment is designed to operate at much lower flow rates. Conventional machines emit water at roughly 3-5 GPM. Not only is this a waste of water, but it may also harm the vehicle's exterior. However, mobile steam car wash steam cleaners emit water at a flow rate of only .5 GPM, a rate safe, yet effective for virtually all vehicle surfaces.

In recent years advances in steam cleaners have been immense, as noted previously. Therefore, the time to purchase is now. Never before have there been such a wide variety of options and technologies to choose from that will make your steam cleaning experience faster, more effective, and more efficient.
