If you enjoy card games, poker is one to learn. A growing craze in online games is Poker. For the highly competitive there are poker tournaments that result in access to larger tournament face offs and larger rewards. To be able to join in on the fun of Poker you have to know the game. Here is a quick lesson in poker what beats what fundamentals.
In the game of poker the winning hands are followed in sequence. The absolute lowest hand is when you have no match, but a high card. If no one has a pair or winning hand, the high card wins. If you have an ace, you may win with Ace high hand. The next hand is one pair. This is when you have two cards of the same denomination. Example two ten's or two two's is one pair.
Then you have three of a kind. You need three cards of the same denomination, like three queens. Following is a straight. This is when the denominations fall in sequence for all 5 cards. You could have a two through six, or eight through queen. The highest straight is a ten through Ace. A straight can be beat with a flush. A flush is all five cards being the same suit. Like all hearts, or all diamonds. Again, the higher the denomination the better chance you have at winning.
The next highest winning hand is a straight flush. This is a combo of the straight and the flush. A flush is the same suit, and in numerical sequence. Then four of a kind, which is 4 of the same cards, like four ten's. The next highest is the royal flush. That is the same suite and being a ten through Ace.
Now that you now poker what beats what concepts, you should be on your way to winning games.
