The new Ford F-150 line-up spreads out to include an overhauled Harley Davidson model along with Raptor, an off-road oriented version. The vehicle comes powered by the 4.6 liter V8 engine that can produce throughput of up to 248 hp and mated with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The other choices of engines available in different variants include a 5.4 liter V8 engine that can produce power levels of up to 310 hp and 4.6 liter version that produces 292 hp. The 5.4 liter V8 engine has the capability to run on E85 ethanol blended fuel and when using this fuel, it can produce power up to 320 hp. The next generation model will be offered with a 6.2 liter V8 engine that can produce power up to 400 hp. The Ford F-150 model has the towing capacity of up to 11,300 lbs.

The four wheel drive or the rear wheel drive is offered by the new version. The all wheel drive models are provided with F-150 Harley Davidson system with low range gearing. Four different trim levels are offered- regular cab, extended cab, super crew cab and super cab, with rear hinged back doors.

Available bed lengths to the model include 5.5, 6.5 and 8.0 feet respectively. The super crew cab is provided with Harley Davidson model and has fine exterior trim, a sport suspension and unique interior looks.

Some of the other Ford F-150 models include up level king ranch and Lariat, base XL, special edition Harley Davidson, midlevel XLT and off road oriented FX4. Some of the standard features on all the models include front side air bags, curtain side air bags, anti-lock braking system, anti-skid mechanism and traction control.
