It is sometimes the case that when you are in business and you have meetings that your clients or customers may have to bring their kids with them for one reason or another.
It may be through no fault of their own that they had to bring their children along so it may be a good idea to set aside somewhere for these kids to play. This simple yet effective plan could make sure that your clients or customers keep coming back.
Nobody is suggesting that you open up a large cache for the kids. Somewhere in a corner will suffice as long as it is filled with things to keep the kids busy while they are there.
You could make use of jigsaw puzzles or toys or even put up a white board for the kids to draw on. Reading books are always a firm favorite for kids too. Just make sure that there is something to cater for the different age groups.
It is simply just a way of keeping the kids occupied while you deal with the parents without any disruptions. You may even find that some kids will not want to leave afterwards as they are enjoying themselves.
This could be a good idea to have if the clients or customers are the kids themselves. For instance dentist or doctors may wan to use a little corner of their waiting room for the kids to play in whilst they wait to be seen.
Keeping your customers happy will ensure that they return. You do not have to spend a fortune equipping your waiting room with new items for the kids. Ask friends or relatives if they have anything that is no longer of use to their kids and utilize those items.
Just a little effort on you part could show the parent and children that you care about their welfare.
