Pain in the foot can be due to injuries or trauma, disease, and also stress. Apparently, the foot is as important as any part of the body. You can't simply disregard anything that happens to your foot because you need to tend to it just like how you tend to the other parts of your body.
If you will study the anatomy of the foot, you'd see that it is quite complicated. It is composed of a network of blood vessels with bones, joints, muscles, and tendons. Hence, if there is continuous trauma to your foot, the anatomical structure can be inflamed and damaged which can result to breaking down. Usually, a sore foot is a result of a problem within the internal structures of the feet. Feet care and proper maintenance of your feet should be done in a regular basis.
There are many different causes for sore feet but usually it is due to continuous physical stress that is experienced by the feet. Usually, the normal padding on the foot would protect the feet from any injuries because it absorbs the weight of the body. The weight of the body is usually the reason for the stress received by the foot; however, this pad wears down with age. Misuse can also cause wearing down of the pads on the foot.
One of the most common causes of wearing down would be too much jogging or strenuous activity that can cause injury to the feet. Usually, this condition is common among athletes or even young children. The tendons and the muscles of the feet will be strained and overstressed. The bones will also be fractured and bruising can occur. In order to prevent these from happening, you need to take good care of your feet.
Certain diseases such as diabetes, gout, and arthritis can result to feet problems. Fungus can also result to conditions such as athlete's foot and other certain irritations. On the other hand, diabetes can cause numbness of the feet as well as problems in circulation. This can result to problems such as painful and swollen feet.
