Part #1: You need to have a high quality product. You can not even think about starting a JV partnership without having a top of the line product. This product should be something that you created yourself or had someone else create that you paid. Never ever try to use a Resale Rights or PLR product. This product should be unique because the top affiliate marketers have seen just about everything out there and you don't want to look like a fool trying to pass on an old product to them.

Part #2: You must have a tested sales letter. Again, before you approach a JV partner, you want to test and tweak your sales letter so that you have at least a 2% conversion rate. This means that for every one hundred people that see your sales letter, 2 people will purchase your product. This is what the Guru's get all the time and you will meet their minimum standards.

Part #3: You have to create a two-tier affiliate program. A two-tier affiliate program by definition means you will pay your affiliates on two levels. This is a great thing to have in place as your JV partner will be able to earn extra money and they will have a bigger selling point to offer their list of subscribers. Money talks and when you can offer a person more than one way to earn money then you will have a better chance of them becoming a part of your sales team.

Part #4: The last thing that you are going to need is great sales material. When you have affiliates working for you they should not have to do a lot of additional work before they begin promoting your product. Having ready available sales materials will also make it an easier decision for them to join your team. This again becomes an additional selling point that your JV partner can use to get more of their list to promote your product.

When you have all these parts in place, you will be able to approach a JV partner who has a large list and be able to get them to take you serious and want to promote your product.
