John Deere Snow Blowers Are Among the Best
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

John Deere Snow Blowers are considered leaders in the industry today. They are created to withstand light and heavy snowfall, and throw snow considerable distances. The extensive network of dealers makes them one of the top brands sold throughout the world. They are built for durability and last throughout frequent uses, even in up to 2 feet of snow. Most JD Blowers come standard with a 4-cycle Briggs and Stratton Snow Series Engine.

There are 2 different kinds of JD Snow Blowers: the Single Stage, and the Dual Stage. The Single Stage Snow Blowers are meant for light snow, and are best used for sidewalks, parking spaces, or patios. The Single Stage Snow Blowers have 22 inch clearing widths, 7 inch poly wheels and 2 quart fuel tanks. They have both a recoil for manual start and a push button for electrical start. The chutes have a remote turning radius of 190 degrees, and manual deflectors. The John Deere Single Stage Blowers also have auger propelled driving systems for cutting through the snow, and folding handlebars for easier storage.

The John Deere Dual Stage would be a good choice for areas with heavier amounts of snowfall. These snow blowers have both an auger to break up the snow and an impeller to throw the snow into the chute, making the engine more powerful and able to throw the snow further. The Dual Stage Blowers also have more features than a Single Stage. They have 6 forward speeds and 2 reverse speeds, utilizing a friction disk drive. They come standard with 3 quart fuel tanks, and 13 inch tires, although they can be upgraded to 16 inches. The Lo Tone muffler comes on a John Deere Dual Stage for quieter and more enjoyable operation. Depending on the model you buy, the clearing width for the Dual Stage is 26 to 32 inches. The heat treated reversible skid shoes can be adjusted to change the working height of the snow blower. For easier operation, the drift cutters can cut down work time and heated hand grips make that time more enjoyable. Examples of John Deere Dual Stage models are the 726E, 928E, 1130SE, and the 1332PE Pro.

A variety of options are also available for John Deere. For seasonal protection, you can buy storage covers to fit all Dual Stage Snow Blowers. Tire chains are available in 4-link spacing and 2-link spacing depending on the type of tire you have and how much extra traction you need. Some of the Dual Stage Blowers are compatible with engine block heaters, making it easier to start the machine in frigid, low temperatures. For more comfortable plowing, the John Deere Snow Blower cab is available. It has freeze resistant windows, pockets for sand or salt, a pocket for a garage door opener and is easily installed with hand tools, no drilling needed.
