One issue for city parents is using a stroller on crowded, narrow sidewalks and taking it on public transportation. In either case, the ideal stroller is one that is narrow enough not to take up enough space for pedestrians and one that can fold up or fit on a bus or subway car. Urban terrain strollers offer the streamlined design of an ordinary jogging stroller, but they're designed on a smaller scale.

All types of jogging strollers give parents two wheel options: rotating and fixed. Rotating is often the best for going out for a walk or taking a stroller on public transit.
