I am writing this post to share my view on Joe Mcelderry who is on this years X Factor. I think that Joe Mcelderry could possibly be the dark horse in this years competitions because he has several things going for him that other acts do not have. Here are some of the main distinctions of Joe. 

Looks - I might be a guy but I know that Joe Mcelderry is a decent looking guy. He has a great smile that he always has on his face all of the time and seems like a fun guy. This will make all of the teenage girls vote for him and even some of the older women. Seeing as the results depend on votes from the audience and the audience is mainly young women I think this will result in him doing pretty well. 

Cheryl - The judge of Joe Mcelderry is Cheryl Cole. She won the X factor last year which was her first year. She knows what to do and how to model someone who is young because she has been in the position previously in her singing career. The viewers of the show at home love her and will vote for her acts just to see that she wins the competition. 

Sweet voice - Joe Mcelderry has a sweet natural voice that seems so soothing when he sings. The brilliant thing about him is that his voice is not forced at all. He just lets it come out and it feels like he has been singing for years. You know when you just look at the screen and you cannot take your eyes off it. It is like that constantly when he sings. 

All the other judges like him - All the other judges are fans of Joe Mcelderry. This will help sway the public vote because if they all seem to like him then people will vote for him just because they like him and feel that their opinion is worth something. It must be if they host a show that gets people singing out in front of 15 million pairs of eyes each week.
