Blogs have become so popular it seems everyone has one. There are business, wedding, personal, creative idea type blogs, along with many more subjects. Just Google something and you'll get a blog. Huge companies are even switching to them. So there must be something to it. Can we say "Information Age"?
So why blog?
It seems that's the way to market anything these days. Blog about what you know and people will read. Perfect example. One of my blogs I haven't been active with for about a year just last week got notification that I needed to moderate it for a comments. These huge companies are using this for a reason. When blogging you can get your ideas out there, you can tell people about your products and your services in a fun and easy to understand format. People are making millions on blogging! Shouldn't you get in on the game?
There are millions of people out there looking for information. Chances are you have information people are looking for. So why not share? It's easy to set up and it's free. Who doesn't like free. Even if you have to pay for a domain, you can find great themes for your blog for free. BlueHost is a great host.
Other great things about blogs is the monitization you can make from them. You can actually make money by having a blog. Look over on the right side of my blog, and go to the bottom of the column. What do you see? Why yes, its Google AdSense, you may now click on a link. (Thank You!) You can build a communities of people through blogs. You can connect your blog with other blogs so you promote each other. This brings in more money, traffic, and therefore happiness.) There are endless possibilities for your blog. Think outside the box.
I love the blogging community, their creative and fun to communicate with. So get active with your blogging. Use it to market yourself and your ideas, products, services, and anything else you can think of, again be creative.
