Is Sustainability the Most Dangerous Word to Human Civilization? Beware!

Expert Author Lance Winslow

It is really hard to say what the most dangerous word in the English language actually is, but, let's go ahead and throw word out there; "Sustainable" and discuss this for a moment. Over the last decade or so I've been listening to people banter about various political issues, and public policy topics, and it seems when I do this, I hear the word sustainable or Sustainability far too often. Almost to the point that you can tell someone's political persuasion and how far left in the political spectrum they are, by how many times they use that word during a normal conversation.

The reality is that many people who claim that they have the answer to sustainable housing, sustainable energy, or a sustainable environment generally they have no business giving anyone advice, because they are not successful in their own lives, most likely have never run a business, and yet they wish to tell everyone else what to do based on their academic credentials, or quotable sources. And when I say quotable sources, I mean academic and research papers, or liberal socialist think tanks and nonprofit organizations, all of which have a specific political agenda.

The reality is when it comes to alternative energy most of the items that are pitched, have nothing to do with Sustainability, in fact whereas you might be able to produce that energy without any costs or challenges to other things in our society and civilization, you won't be able to produce the amount of energy which is demanded by the very people who don't want it taken away. Therefore, when you make something sustainable, and you factor in the law of unintended consequences, you make human life on this planet unsustainable, if you are to take those methods, theories, and plans forward.

For those that promote a sustainable future, most likely they are asking us to change to a future which will not include human beings, and even if it does it will include far fewer of us, and some of you will have to go. Of course those who claim to have the answer to Sustainability will be the ones who get to choose who can stay and who must perish, and that's rather convenient.

Next time someone comes up with the word sustainability, you should immediately become suspect of their knowledge base, their achievements in life, and you must immediately challenge them on every single one of their points, and make them quote references, and legitimate sources which would not include nonprofit groups such as Pew Research, Public Interest Nonprofit Group, or the United Nations.

Further, if they start talking to you about global warming, you will immediately realize that they haven't a clue as to how things work on this planet. I recommend that you do not listen because their theories are unsustainable. Please consider all this.
