The simple fact of the matter is that not everyone is cut out for Internet marketing. In other words, if you are somebody who lacks discipline and lacks focus, then you need to seriously consider whether or not getting involved with this business makes sense for you. While it may sound negative to speak this way, it is actually better that you make this determination now before you get too deeply involved with the industry.

Far too many aspiring Internet marketers get involved in this business without really stopping to consider whether or not they have a temperament that is well-suited to Internet marketing. There are a variety of things you can ask yourselves to help you make this determination. For example, ask yourself if you are the kind of person who can read instructions and follow directions. If you have a tendency to be impatient, and cannot read instructions, then you may not be well-suited for this business.

Something else that you need to seriously think about is whether or not you actually have enough persistence to follow through. You wouldn't believe the number of people who get involved with Internet marketing only to quit several weeks later. The reason why they quit is because they were expecting results to happen automatically without them having to do any work. Needless to say, you need to understand that some work will be required.

Here's the bottom line: despite what everybody tells you, not everyone is cut out for this particular business. It is better that you make that determination sooner rather than later.
