People who get involved with Internet marketing have a tendency to say yes to various requests without really thinking about whether or not it makes sense to do so. You really need to learn how to say no more often if you want to preserve control over your own personal time as well as to preserve control over your schedule.

We as people have a tendency to want to make others happy. However, once you become an Internet marketer, you need to try to balance the needs of others against the needs that your business has for you to be focused on a particular task at any given point in time. This basically translates into a situation whereby you need to be very careful about what you agreed to. You don't necessarily have to be nasty about it, but you do need to be firm and friendly in explaining that you are unable to say yes to a particular request.

One of the key reasons why so many people have a tendency to say yes is because they do not actually have the schedule. As a result, they do not fully appreciate what ever it is that they need to get done by a certain deadline. They are basically flying with no instrument panel.

You will quickly realize that you are able to get more work done in a significantly more efficient manner once you are able to politely but firmly saying no more often to various requests that people may have.
