If you are reading this article and wonder, how do I start to market myself and make a presence on the internet so that I can market my network marketing company? There are so many things I need to learn, computer code, Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click and Article Marketing. How will I ever put it all together to finally make some money and be on the road to my dreams? I have answer for you, just start small. There is no way that you can learn to do all of these elements well in a short period of time. Pick one area, study it and learn how to do it well. Set small goals that you know you can reach. If you set the bar too high and do not reach your goal, you will become discouraged and give up. It is important that once you set the goal, that you consistently follow through on that activity. If you are not consistent, then you will not achieve the results that you ultimately desire to achieve.
If you read the stories of internet network marketers who are very successful, you will find that every one of them struggled in major ways with feelings of insecurity and feeling overwhelmed about how they could accomplish their goals. Each one of them decided to pick one area that they could focus on and master. Once they mastered one part of the internet marketing puzzle and had achieved some financial success, they moved onto another area of the marketing puzzle. Also, if you have the financial resources to pay someone to do some of these parts of the internet marketing puzzle, then I would recommend that you do that. However, if your funds are limited, then you need to find inexpensive and creative ways to achieve your dreams. You will have to at some point spend a significant amount of money to learn from the masters who have succeeded as they have valuable information and it is definitely worth the cost. Do not buy everything that is recommended because you will fall into the information overload trap and will be so overwhelmed about where to start that you don't do anything.
I chose writing and article marketing because it was something that came a little easier to me than the other areas as my background is in the legal field where I had to do a significant amount of writing. You must individually decide what piece of the internet marketing puzzle you want to focus on first and go after it. There is nothing wrong with testing out other parts of the marketing puzzle but you need to make one area your focus until you are successful in it.
In the book, "The Path" by Laurie Beth Jones, she discusses the importance of each person having their own individual mission statement. Pick your area and passion and pursue it. Don't stray from it or else you will wind up accomplishing nothing. Remember, start small and build from there.
