The #1 way to destroy your customer base is to constantly promote your business. If you are sending out posts on social media sites that are just about your opportunity, you will not gain trust from people and it actually turns people off. The correct way to gain a customer base is to provide a service or give information to people that may help them. This will create a relationship and builds a working friendship that will lead to many avenues/business deals.
3) Personal development.
Personal development is the key to your success in online marketing period. If you are not reading publications like Success magazine or listening to audio from Jim Rohn, John Maxwell you will not set yourself apart from everyone else. If you want to change your life I strongly suggest you either read or listen to these entrepreneurs. They changed my life and I have never been the same since.
4) Website
You need your own website. How else will you build your name or a web presence? Attach a video of your self to your site this way people can meet you and see if you are the person they want to join.
5) Traffic
Traffic is like oxygen, everyone needs it in internet marketing. There a many programs that will help build traffic to your site. Search for these programs online or ask people that you meet in social networking sites. PPC pay per click is another way to get your site out there however this can get expensive. I suggest sites that create back links to your website as the search engines love back links.
6) Sponsor
Be a good sponsor, go the extra mile and take the time to help people. People will trust you if you help them.
7) System
Make a system that your down line can follow, duplication is the key. Do not slack here this is very important for your business, Wash-Rinse-Reuse.
8) Online marketing
Facebook, Twitter, YouTube are the major social media sites for building a customer base online. Video marketing is very powerful as it works for you 24/7.
9) Offline marketing
Create flyers with your website link and put them where people go etc. Be creative think outside of the box.
10) Enjoy Life
Do not let your business consume you, make scheduled time for working. If you get overwhelmed take a break and come back to it later. Sometimes stepping away will refresh your thoughts. Develop a "WHY" what is it that makes you get up every day and do the things you do? When you find your "WHY" put it on your computer screen, refrigerator wherever you can see it.
