Increase Your Squeeze Page Conversion Rates With These Powerful Strategies

Many people mistakenly believe that the only way to attract more subscribers for their e-mail list is to drive more traffic to their squeeze page. While attracting more eyes to your offer will certainly increase the size of your e-mail database, you can get more subscribers from your existing traffic by improving your conversion rate. The following tips and tricks will help you turn more of your current visitors into subscribers.

• Eliminate all "leaks" from your squeeze page. Any links to other pages within your site or other people's websites should be removed promptly. Visitors should have two options - click the opt-in form to go to the thank-you page or leave. That's it.

• Focus the content. The headlines, text, and information presented on a squeeze page has one purpose and one purpose only: promote the newsletter! Remove any content, advertisements, or other elements that distract from this purpose.

• Improve your existing offer or develop a new one. You absolutely must give people a reason to subscribe. Whether your incentive is the list itself (i.e. your newsletter is an eCourse), or a giveaway such as an eBook or eCourse, you must provide people with enough motivation to give up their e-mail address.

• Place an opt-in form "above the fold." Your opt-in form should be instantly visible when visitors arrive on the page. Don't make them scroll down just to sign up (although you can include a second form further down the page). Signing up is the focus of the page - put the means for doing so right at the top!
