With your busy work schedule, it is hard to squeeze in a good solid workout. There are lots of things going in your life and the easiest way is to include walking in your daily life. There are several ways to do so and it will not take much time out of your daily life to accomplish it.
Here are a few ideas for you:
1. Walk to Your Co-Worker's Cubicle
With all the technology ready at hand, people hardly see each other face to face anymore. People simply call or send an e-mail to someone in the same office building. All this technology at our fingertips makes us lazy and reluctant to get up. So, I say you see your co-worker face to face when you need some help rather than just send an e-mail. It will help you a lot in the long run.
2. Take the stairs
Using the stairs instead of the escalator will not even slow you down very much at all. In fact, if you walk fast enough, you can even beat the escalator and even get a workout out of it as well. If you'd like, you can take every other step as well to really get a workout. Using the stairs instead of the elevator is the same idea as well. When you get off work, use the stairs to walk down instead of riding down comfortably in the elevator.
3. Walk During Your Breaks
Many people I know smoke outside of the office building. Instead of smoking, you can move around a little by taking a walk around the building instead. If will be better for your body and for your lungs as well.
