One of the biggest challenges in learning how to build a network marketing business is to avoid allowing yourself to feel overwhelmed. There is a learning curve but it's important to get started right away.

So for this reason it's important to remember..... you don't have to get it right or get it perfect.... you just have to get it going!

Perfect conditions almost never exist. We all have to start somewhere, and the longer anyone waits to get started the less likely it is that they ever will. It's too easy to give in to procrastination, or to get into the
habit of never missing training calls but not actually taking the action to get your business going.

Whether it be video marketing, blogging, article writing, or social networking, we need to learn how to add content..... and especially content that people are going to read and/or listen to and then click on your links.

The first article you write will probably not be as good as your 20th. Your first video might get very few, or even no views at all. Don't worry about it. The only way to get better is to learn..... to learn from your mistakes, and to learn from others who are already doing what you want to do successfully.

If you are doing offline promotion your first presentation won't be as good as your fifth. It's doing the first one that can be tough.

A famous quote by Yoda was this: "Do or do not, there is no try." Having the attitude that I am going to DO this successfully rather than I will TRY to do it will go a long way to keeping you in the game, and staying with it even if you don't see results for awhile.

Think of parents of a young baby watching him or her learning how to take their first steps. Chances are that child will try many times before actually being successful at walking. Could you imagine if the parents decided their baby would never walk because they fell the first five times they set out to do it?

What if Edison had listened to all the nay sayers in his day? Or Bill Gates. In fact Edison is one of the best examples of perserverance there is. He said "I haven't failed 10,000 times, I've found 10,000 ways something will not work."

Why do we give up on our dreams so easily when something doesn't work the first time, or something doesn't produce results in a week? We need to stop making excuses and just DO IT!
