I Cured My Type 2 Diabetes in Four Months

Although I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes March of 2007, it was about four months ago that I took control and started to look for a way to cure my disease...not just to continue with treating it.
 
The medical advice I was receiving, including the ADA (American Diabetes Association) guidelines and almost everything I heard or read was not only overwhelming and confusing...it was not working.
 
And since I was a full blown diabetic requiring five, self-injected, insulin shots a day, I figured out how to use that as an advantage. In other words, through my meter and testing strips I could actually see my blood sugar (glucose) count throughout the day. These simple little blood sugar tests showed me what was working and what was not working as I experimented with different things.
 
The real surprise I discovered was learning that type 2 diabetes resulted from a deeper underlying cause, as it does with other chronic diseases like obesity, strokes, heart disease, allergies, arthritis, lupus, cancer, Alzheimer's, depression, and many others.

And so by shifting my focus on curing the underlying problem, it in-turn cured my diabetes.
 
However, this underlying problem, how we eat food, revealed something even more serious with what food we eat and why it affects us in such a negative health way.

Similar to the old saying...those were the cards you were dealt, I say...that was the food you were given to eat. But do not think I am leading up to some sort of new diet...because I am not.  

What I am getting to is that a conspiracy or secret plot by the powers to be for the last twenty-five to fifty years have and continue to generate obscene profits at the expense of our nation's health.
 
And like most people, until the pain becomes greater than the pleasure, no action is taken. And in my case when the doctor said you are diabetic and obese, I got scared enough to change.

However, after two hard years of following the medical advice given, and not wavering one time watching what I ate and recording my blood sugar count, I saw my health deteriorating...not improving. 
 
Therefore, my way of life now is: I eat to live, not live to eat. And, as a result, I am getting healthy and feeling better by the day.
