Hydrogen Powered Car Kit - What to Know
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

Firstly, before I get into discussion about buying a hydrogen powered car kit, and what you need to know, I want to clear up the confusion that many people seem to be having. If you go on the internet and research this topic to any length, you will see a lot of people saying this is a scam. Lets just take a look at two very enlightening questions that can displace that belief quite easily when you consider them.

Firstly, is it possible that the "forces at large" did not want this technology made available due to monetary repercussions involving oil companies, so they put out a lot of bad press about it? And also is it possible that maybe, just maybe the technology is all that it is hyped up to be, considering the fact that many hugely wealthy companies are supporting this technology, and integrating it into their productions, Honda, Lexus and BMW just to name a few.

So if it is not a "scam" and it does indeed work, then how? Well the basics of it are really quite simple. Water as many people may know, at least I sincerely hope, is also known as H2O. Water molecules contain two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom. In terms of the molecular structure, Hydrogen can be broken off from Oxygen in a process known as electrolysis. Hydrogen being extremely reactive and flammable makes a great fuel. Thus hydrogen power technology exists. Although a very basic overview of the process, this is the general gist of it.

So what if you want to take advantage of this amazing technology and get your car to run on hydrogen, what are the options? Well there are several, and they range from the very expensive, to the very cheap. Your options are; you can buy a brand new or second hand hybrid car, costing anywhere from $10-15000 and upwards, you can buy and have installed a commercially produced hydrogen fuel cell, not cheap either (ranges in the thousands), you can buy a pre-made kit like the one you can build yourself, for up to $500, and finally, you can buy a kit and a few basic parts and do it yourself for $150 to $200.

If you are good with mechanics, or even just know how to do some basic tuning to your car. Then the most viable option is to do the latter. You can invest in a do it yourself hydrogen conversion kit guide, which will cost you from $50 to $100 and then the parts, for another $100-$200. Apart from being the cheapest option, this will also give you a great understanding and hands on experience of how the conversion process actually happens. If you are not mechanically or technically inclined, but you want to convert your car in the cheapest way possible, then you can still do the same as above, only you would pay a mechanic to install the kit for you. This would most likely still be your cheapest option.

There are many guides on the market at the moment which tell you how to convert your car to run on water. The fact is that many of them are plain rubbish. And have just been rehashed, and badly, from the already existing and much higher quality guides. The two guides that you will want to take a closer look at are: Water4Gas and Run Your Car On Water.

Water4Gas was the original guide giving instruction on how to convert your engine to run on water. The guide was released around late 2007, and is probably still the most in depth and technically detailed guide that you will find on the internet, or anywhere for that matter. With some great bonuses included as part of the package, it is a pretty good value for money at $97. One of the bonuses that you will get included with this guide, will show you how to get a government rebate for the conversion costs, very useful indeed.

Run Your Car On Water is the other top guide available. This guide is also put together very well, with all the steps you need to know to convert your engine written out in an orderly and professional manner. This guide is a little less detailed than Water4Gas, but the positive aspect about this guide is that it is half the price, at only $49.97. So for next to nothing you can have the step by step instructions for the conversion process.

So if you decide to go along with the process and convert your car to run on water using one of the guides or any of the methods that are mentioned above, then you can expect to get several fantastic benefits out of it. Obviously you will be saving money on fuel, up to 50% fuel cost savings are reported by many after converting their car. You will also be lowering the carbon emmissions of your vehicle dramatically, which will be helping out the environment in a big way. Thirdly, and what I consider to be the most positive and important aspect of converting your car, is the fact that others will see what you are doing, and you will be spreading the use of this fantastic technology, which will have a huge impact on its growth and use.

So if you want to start saving money on fuel, plus a ton of other benefits, by converting your car to run on water, head over to this hydrogen powered car kit consumer review site. It really helped me choose the right kit to get my car running using water, and if you are serious about doing it I recommend getting the best guide, as there are some pretty bad ones out there.
