I have been living in Aundh for more than 2 yrs now. This restaurant, Hut-k, is just at a walking distance from my house. But till date, I never felt like going to this place. But today Mayank and Bairagi were in a mood to booze and dine out that too without straining their pockets. So they took me to Hut-K, a dhaba (which is a rare commodity in Pune), located at the end of D P Road, near Medipoint Hospital. Open air, calm, quiet, but not well lit. A nice place for those who want to have a dinner with a drink or two in a calm, quiet place. But definitely not a place to go with you girl friend.

The service is quick and the food, quite tasty. It offers a large variety of both Veg and Non Veg dishes in Chinese and Indian cuisines. Mayank and Bairagi had Beer and I had Hot and Sour soup along with Paneer Chilly for starters. It was pleasantly surprising to see that it is among the very few Pune restaurants serving food that is on the spicier side. Infact if you are one of those who cant bear spicy stuff, then do ask them to tone it down at the time of ordering. For main course we had Veg Maratha (its like mix veg kofta in gravy), dal tadka, naan and jeera rice.

All of the items were quite tasty, and all this cost just Rs 510, for the three of us - quite cheap indeed. The restaurant also offers home delivery facility.

I was happy to have come across this place, though quite late, but better late than never.

Also, try out Tandoori Chicken - its very spicy here and really yummy.
