In the first part of this article, I gave tips and guidance on how to write an eBooklet that will sell. In part two, I look at how you can market and distribute your product at the right price.
First, you will need a website where visitors can view and buy your product.
One option you have is to deliver your eBooklet as a fee based service - delivering your tips on a predetermined schedule (i.e daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). This is also an excellent way to whet your customer's appetite for your bigger and higher priced products.
Another way to distribute your eBooklet is as an add-on to your other products. Since there's no additional cost to deliver your eBooklet, you may feel your customers would be better served with a free eBooklet.
If you have several eBooklets or tip sheets, you can expand your eBooklet to a longer length product like a special report.
It's important to gradually build the amount of information revealed in each product line so your customers feel they are getting new information with minimal overlap.
A special report is a great way to deliver updated information rather than completely revise another product that might still be useful, even if it doesn't have the most current information.
If you've built your product line - starting with an eBooklet and moving to special reports - you may want to move onto a manual. This is an easy way to compile a set of shorter products into a larger, expanded product. Your outline would simply follow each eBooklet or special report - one building on the next.
Another great option is to offer an e-mail course. E-mail courses are a hybrid of the automated tips service I described previously. You will have to add lessons - much like a real course. You also need to offer some sort of lesson review or grading.
Your customers need to know that you are involved in the process and that you're available for constructive criticism. Your course will be automated but your feedback will depend on when your customers send you their lessons. How often do you send a lesson? It depends on your goal and how well you think your customers will respond. The only way to know for sure is to test and see how your customers respond. They will usually let you know if you are sending too often or not enough.
Customization
Think about the industries that are most likely to benefit from your subject matter. And think about the industries that are the easiest to approach-based on your expertise. Your experience will probably apply to more than one industry or group of people.
Leverage your knowledge in whatever way you can. A business opportunity guide will apply to several different groups. Customize your material for each audience and focus individually on selling to each.
Pricing
You may want to price your eBooklets/tip sheets in the range of $4 to $6 each. When you start moving to medium sized reports, start at $7 to $12. But, if you think your expertise is critical-and you have a lot of experience-then you can start your pricing from $25 and up.
