Everyone likes to read good content but it is not as easy to write a good one as it seems to be. Once you learn what it means by good content then you will get a sense how to write a good one.
What It Means By a Good Content?
You come across couples of articles and the content-stuff while surfing. But you feel rarely that there is something "good" in them. Basically there are some elements and attributes that make the content good and worth reading. The content you often like to read may consist of useful and unique information, easy and flawless language, readability, and scannability.
1. Useful and Unique Content
Most people surf internet to get to know something and find some useful resources. The content therefore should be informative and useful. Many seek online guidance and tips and learn something. So, the information provided in the content or article need to be good, reliable, authentic, and useful. More specifically, you need to write for the readers.
2. Easy and Flawless Language: Readability
The information and ideas provided in the article or the content should be encoded into easy and flawless language. In other words, there needs to be readability so that one can easily follow the information. It may cause some problems of credibility and readability if the language of the content is poor. You should proof read your content before submitting or publishing.
3. Scannability
You know that the internet users often "scan" through the content or the stuff because they have to surf the lots of things to get the desired information. You can make your content scannable so that the internet readers can get easily what they search for.
So, what will you do to make your articles or content scannable? Well, your language should be simple and your words selection should be familiar one. You can make the sentences short. Make some headings or subtitles appropriate to the paragraphs so that readers can get the ideas from the titles/headings what is there in the paragraph. You can also structure your content using points or bullets.
So, a good content is what unique, good and useful information provided in simple and flawless language that one easily can scan though!
