If you want to stop eating, it's good that you've stumbled by this article because I want to share with you 1 tip which can help you deal with your eating urges better and to even make you happier in your life.

This tip is all about loneliness which is usually what an over eater feels whether he or she knows it or not. You see, overeating usually comes due to some anxiety, stress, or another emotion and is often accompanied by shame.

But being or feeling alone is the absolute worst thing you can do if you're dealing with stress or any other bad emotion. Why? because you don't have anyone to alleviate your stress with. You're keeping it all to yourself. You're not venting it in a healthy way, so you turn to food for comfort.

If you want to stop overeating, I recommend surrounding yourself with people. And I mean people you can have fun with or do meaningful things. I don't mean just the people you work with unless you can count them as true friends.

Do what you need to not be alone. Take up a team sport class, join a volunteer organization, take a dancing class, join an amateur acting group. Do stuff which bring you into close contact with people and create new friends and people you can share your trouble with (but be prepared to listen to theirs in return).

Being around people, doing things you enjoy relieves a lot of stress in itself. What it also does is give you many ways to alleviate the negative emotions which drive you to overeat in the first place.

So, end overeating and enhance your life at the same time.
