If you want to advertise as an affiliate on the internet, you are going to need a doorway page. Most websites that you can advertise on, like Google AdWords do not let you put an affiliate link in your ads. You have to create your own web page called a doorway page. This is where you would put your affiliate link. Here are the steps:

1. Create your page. You can create your own doorway page on Microsoft word, or from a specific website that will help you. For my page, I was provided a text file that I downloaded and I changed it in "note pad" or Microsoft word (easy to use), and any program you can manipulate words and text will work, you can also search Google for "website creation" and you can download one, for example (Dreamweaver, 1and1).

Check out other websites and get ideas of their lay out, text size, fonts and colors so you can create your own page you love. You can turn text into a hyperlink, so if someone clicked on a word or phrase, they would be sent to a site of your choice, just highlight the word or phrase and embed your link into the hyperlink, for example, your own hoplink or affiliate link, so you will get paid if someone clicks and buys a product.

2. Host Your doorway page. Once you have created your page, now you need to host it on the internet, so someone can actually go their. I recommend (1and1). Their site has everything you need to create and host a doorway page and even create an entire website. Sign up on their site. Click on the hosting option to start. I would select the first option "1and1 Beginner" for hosting, Which is only $3.99 a month. Follow the easy set up steps. If you need help, they offer 24/7 support.

3. Create your domain. When you sign up with the "1and1 Beginner" package, it includes a free domain. Create a great domain that's easy to read and relevant to what your advertising. Capitalize the first letter of every word, and don't use hyphens or spaces, and not to long.
