In an attempt to break down some the basics, I will reveal how to Retweet in Twitter. If you are a Twitter guru then you have no business here you should be sending Tweets!
However if you are a complete novice and you find it hard to understand how basic things work in Twitter then you are in the right place.
I am going to reveal 2 simple ways to do this. Firstly you may be thinking what is a Retweet? Well it is different to a reply or a direct message just to make matters worse!
It allows you to effectively forward a Tweet to your followers. Why would you want to do that? Good question, well you may see some valuable information that you will love to share.
What you have to remember is when you receive a Tweet it is visible to you and all the people that follow the sender, however when you Retweet all your followers and random visitors can see it and share.
OK, enough of that let me explain how you do it:
1) The Simple Way: Find a tweet that you feel has some value and you should see a link to the right saying Retweet. Simply click that and confirm that you want to send it. Yes, simply as that.
2) Manually: If you want to attend the advanced class you can write it directly into a message starting with the letters 'RT' followed by "@' then the user name and message.
Easy when you know how right? That is what I thought.
