There are times in the life of a network marketer when when a prospect says no to his offer. Although we don't give much thought about why he said no and we tend to think well the prospect was not convinced by the compensation plan my company was offering.
The sad part is only one to five percent of the people who we advertise the business to are going to say yes to our business opportunity and which means we are missing out on major ninety five percent people.
The first thing we need to understand is that there is a force that shapes every human being's life and that is
The desire to avoid pain and gain pleasure
Every single decision is based on this force so when our prospects say no to our offer then it means the pain of moving out of their comfort zone is more than the pleasure they will get out of starting their own business.
The heart always rules the mind and people make their decision based on emotions. A person who is overweight is struggling to lose weight by sticking to a diet and one day he eventually fails because to him the short term pleasure of having his favourite cheese burger outweighs the pleasure of having a healthy slim body.
So when you get someone very excited and pump their emotional states to join your business but the prospect finally says no before closing the deal because his emotional state wares off.
The solution to this problem is the latest revolution in the network marketing and that is Attraction Marketing.
People are looking for solution to their problems. In fact most of them are lazy and are looking for a quick fix to their problems. For example a person looking to make a hole may look for a drill because he wants the hole not the drill. So if we catch his attention by teaching him how to make the best hole then we can eventually sell the drill as well rather than just talking about drills, drills and drills.
Getting started has to be your prospect's idea not yours. It takes multiple touches for someone to get used to you and during that period if you continually market yourself in the right way to them then there may come a right time when a prospect who initially said no may join your business.
Even if someone who does not join your business because he is already in another company or for some other reason can still earn you money in the form of affiliate programs or your own product which can help them make the hole they desire.
