For example, a co-worker notices your special someone has received a batch of pink roses and says, "Oh your friend got those for you. Wow those are so nice!" Meanwhile, she doesn't know that the "friend," being you, just proposed to her days ago. Now why would you send your fiancé friendship roses? Well, how would you know unless you read about the color meaning of roses? Nowadays women send roses to their partners and if they aren't careful, they could send the wrong meaning too. So the next couple's holiday whether anniversary, Sweetest Day, or Valentine's Day, be sure you don't make any mistakes expressing how you feel.

Red and yellow roses together symbolize happiness and celebration. A bouquet of yellow roses with a single red rose tells someone you would like to be more than just friends. You may consider this bouquet if you are hoping to do more than just hand hold and kiss, be sure the person knows something about what rose colors means. Never assume that because you sent them the bouquet they know what you mean by it. Be a little more direct in your card. Say something like, "I hope that the next time we see one another we will explore places that we have never seen before..."
