As we all know getting out of the house on time can be a struggle, especially if you have children ages 3-12. The aim of this article is to leave you with some tips to try that may help your mornings become a bit less stressful.
1) Lay clothes out the night before
One quick way to have one less thing to worry about in the morning is to have the clothes picked out the night before. It is best to lay the clothes in the same spot each day, so your child will know exactly what he/she will wear, and the exact place the child's clothes are located.
2) Do Not Allow The T.V. To Be On
Interestingly enough, having the T.V. at all will cause most children to get distracted. It's truly amazing because it can be something as boring as the new and children will still get into a trance like state and take a long time to get ready. It really is just best to keep the T.V. until everything is completely done (socks and shoes are on and breakfast has been completed).
3) Make The Lunches The Night Before
One of the last things as a parent that you want to worry about is what your child is going to eat for lunch. That is why if you plan ahead and get lunches and snacks together the night before; there will be less to deal with in the morning. Just switching this one job into the previous nights work will greatly improve the speed of you morning routine.
Those are a few tips to get you thinking about your morning time routine, and what you can be doing differently to help morning time run more smoothly.
