People always ask me how to lose 10 pounds as quickly as possible. Others simply want to know if it is possible to lose weight that quickly. But let me tell you, if you are dedicated and stick to a plan, it is definitely possible to lose weight that quickly. You will also find that a solid plan will help you lose weight within weeks, and it is really not that hard to lose weight. To get you started, here is a description of some of the most common methods people try to lose weight.

1. Weight Loss Pills- Actually, I only include this point to say that it is not a good choice! Many of the bestselling diet pills do not actually help people lose weight, and they often have harmful side effects. Phentermine is a popular pill that is both expensive and harmful (do a search for side effects if you need proof). Instead of diet pills, you should always try to make a natural, safe plan for losing weight and staying healthy.

2. Exercise- Although aerobic workouts seem like too much to bother with, they really are one of the best ways to lose weight and get healthy. The idea is simple: burn more calories than you take in, and you will start to lose weight. Try to begin with small steady workouts, and work your way up each day until you have a somewhat strenuous exercise routine. A nice workout every day will not only help you to lose weight, but it will help you stay in shape and stay healthy.

3. Diet- Another great way to lose weight safely is to start counting calories (not exactly like Weight Watchers though). You just need to start lowering your caloric intake in order to start losing weight. To do this, go one day and eat as you normally would. Make sure to write down what all you eat and how many calories consume. Whatever you usually eat, subtract 500 calories from that and start eating that many instead. For example, if you usually consume 2,000 calories in a day, instead try limiting yourself to 1,500 calories.

Another good thing to try is changing how many meals you eat each day. Instead of 3 main meals every day, you should try have 5 smaller meals spread apart evenly. This plan will help increase your metabolism, and will therefore help you to shed more weight faster. This plan will also help with any hunger pains you may feel at the beginning of your diet. When you start feeling hungry, you are allowed to have another small meal, just be sure to limit your calories.

Although exercise and dieting are the best ways to lose weight, I personally think it is best to combine these two methods. Exercise will help you to lose weight quickly, and limiting your calories will also help you to lose weight and get healthier. You just need to make a solid plan and be sure to follow it, and you will start to see results within a week or two.

It is important to remember though that you need to focus on being healthy and not just losing weight as fast as possible. A healthy body will help you to keep off those pounds and keep you in shape. And remember, procrastination is a top reason why so many people fail to lose weight. If you do not make a plan and stick to it, then you will probably not succeed. Plan for success!
