Learning how to last longer in bed is much easier than you may think. If only the 30% of all men who get PE at some time in their lives knew how, then they too could easily benefit from some simple pointers. In this article, I'll share with you some of the tips I've shared with hundreds of other men in their battle.
Anxiety
Let's first be clear about PE. The root cause of all PE is anxiety about what is going to happen in the bedroom, how long you might last at penetrative sex, will it be good for her etc. All of these things combined are colloquially called "performance anxiety".
So the best tips and cures out there will cure this anxiety. Let's take a closer look.
Masturbate Beforehand
Have you ever gone a week without any ejaculation? Then you will know just how easy it is for you to go overboard and ejaculate within seconds because of the expectation and the release.
If you masturbate before sex then you won't be expecting another ejaculation so quickly. You will actually lose much of your anxiety from beforehand. The timing is different for every man - the optimum can range from 10 minutes to 2 hours - only by experimenting can you discover your own ideal time difference.
An alternative to this is to simply get your first ejaculation in the bedroom out of the way and don't sweat about it, it's no big deal. Then wait 5 to 10 minutes, do some more foreplay and then start again.
Numbing Products
These products work by taking blocking the nerve impulses sent to your brain. Basically you "feel" less stimulation than normal.
For example, if you block half of the stimulation then it will take you twice as long to ejaculate. On the surface, it appears that they do nothing for your anxiety.
However, what they really do is allow you to not so easily "lose it". You see, normally you sense ejaculation coming. This makes you even more anxious and nervous and makes it happen more quickly.
Numbing products such as delay condoms and delay sprays definitely have their place and can allow you to become more confident in bed, even though you will need to stop using them eventually.
Think of them as similar to a bicycle with stabilizer wheels. They are a great help in the early stages.
