How to Keep the Referrals Coming in 5 Easy Steps

Expert Author J. H. Lee

The majority of things well worth doing usually require a thought out procedure. Most things call for preparation, know-how, and going through a progressive series of actions. It is no different when you want to learn how to keep the referrals coming. Here is the way you can accomplish this in a mere 5 easy steps.

Step 1.
Never forget where a good referral came from. This can be significant because you may have a plethora of clients but through your busy life, you haven't realized where they all came from. If you decide not to take this step, you could be completely ignoring a valuable source of business.

Step 2.
Once you determine the sources of your best referrals, write down the circumstances and events that lead to them. This can be a very important step. It demands concentration and your full attention. The reason that this is important is because you can use certain aspects of prior events as a reminder to the referrer and stimulate them to produce more referrals.

Step 3.
Develop new relationships on a regular basis. The reason behind this is to make sure that the well never runs dry. Likewise, it's good to speak frequently to family, friends, allies, and new acquaintances about your work.

Step 4.
Be sure to treat referrals and the referrer like VIP -Golden Royalty. To elaborate on that a little bit, take The Golden Rule and put it on steroids when it comes to these people. Every possible opportunity to do something in their best interest and something they would thoroughly enjoy, go ahead and do it-without hesitation.

Step 5.
Simply, do a great job. Additionally, be as exceptional as you can muster up the strength to be. Really take a good look at the quality of service you provide and grade yourself. Be honest with yourself and if you don't make the A+ grade, then make it a point to improve.

And so, having followed the above mentioned instructions like a true champion, you should have succeeded and can now take pleasure with the thrill of success. It's okay to give yourself credit for a job well done. You achieved what you set out to accomplish and can now strive for higher achievement. You "cleared the hurdle". Now revel in the sweet victory.

If you did not follow the above tips, too bad for you! Best of luck to you in any case!
