Dry walling your home may seem like an easy job, however it is actually quite difficult. Saying that it might not be as difficult as you may imagine. Man people have asked me how to drywall. In order to dry wall you need to follow a few simple micro-projects. You will also need a range of important tools, including:

- Putty
- Tray
- Joint Putty
- Sandpaper
- Scraper
- Paint
- Hammer
- Thinners
- Plaster
- Patches

The exact tools needed will depend on the size of your room, as with the number of supplies you need.

You will defiantly need to use sandpaper as in order to prepare your room you must make sure that your walls are completely smooth. After sanding you should wipe the walls down with a cloth to remove any dust.

If there are any holes which are in the wall then you will need to use plaster to till these in. Use the scraper to apply the putty to fill the holes and patch them if you need to. Sometimes you might need to apply a second coat of plaster.

You should never start dry walling unless your walls are properly prepared. You must sand the wall down so that it is completely smooth. You must also wash the area to remove the dust. After washing the wall you must make sure it is one dry before starting the rest of the project.

After you have finished your dry walling then you are then ready to start painting your room. You should spend time choosing the type of paint that you want to use to paint the room. Make sure the paint is dry before letting any children into the room!

If your walls are in a bad state of repair then you may first need to consider other options which are able to dramatically improve the condition of your walls. You may want to just cover the areas which are causing problems, however this isn't the only option. It pays to know exactly what options you have available to you before starting.

You can occasionally just repair the wall rather than completely renovating the area. This will depend on your unique circumstances. If you have a rotted area of wall then you may want to consider hiring a professional to help you out as this is quite a difficult project.

If you see that any areas of your home are starting to show the signs of damage then by fixing them as soon as you notice the problem then you will solve a lot of problems later on down the line. Small repair jobs are much easier than entire renovation projects.

As you apply the spackle you should sand down the area which has been repaired. If it starts to peel off then you should clear the area using the scraper. When the speckle dries you should sand it so that you can prepare the hole properly. After all of that then you are ready to paint the room.
