Anger management issues have many different causes which can vary from hormone imbalances to psychological and emotional trauma. One may not fully begin to realize that he or she has an anger control problem until several years of struggling have passed. It is at that time when one begins to think about implementing some form of self help anger management or anger therapy.

The overall goal of anger control is to reduce your physiological arousal and emotional feelings that are caused by your anger. It is not always possible to change or completely avoid the people or things that enrage a person, but it is possible to take control of the reactions.
