How to Get in Love in the First Place?

Expert Author Veronica Allen-Anderson

Good question....

How long would it take to know something in your life feels right or feels wrong? Think about it, you're told to go somewhere and in your gut it just doesn't feel right. Would you go? Most would say, no. If you had something in your life, that kept annoying you, what would you do? Most would say, get rid of it.

You cannot get in love, if it feels wrong to begin with. Remember when you say the words I love you, in that sentence is the word love. Love is an action word. Love can be many things, but, it can never be unsure, nor, is love supposed to hurt.

Think about these series of questions. Why would you continue to let this person in? What are you looking for to live with forever? Is it looks? Body? Height? Cologne/Perfume? Skin color?

Think about this... Does that special someone makes you feel like saying, "You recently stepped into my life, and turned everything I stood for around. I fought you tooth and nail for my heart and you took it. I want to thank you for that. Without you, I'd never learn the meaning of love."

It's really not about the looks, body type, height, smells or even the skin color. It's all about knowing yourself and the direction you want to go in, and having a partner that is going in the same direction in life you are. If you are unevenly yoked, it will never work. That gut feeling has to have a positive feeling. Remember, love is not supposed to hurt. Love is supposed to be that feeling that is worth fighting for. Worth doing it over and over again and not caring, because you and that person are walking on that same path together. You and that person can look at one another and know that life will never be worth being without one another.

Now remember it's "YOU" and that "PERSON," which mean two people have that same feeling. It can NEVER be one sided. If it is, then it's just not for you.
