Firstly, ask yourself this. Why do you want to get started in Internet Marketing? Do you know why this is important? Popular personal trainer, Vince DelMonte says that "reasons come first and answers second." With every action there is a reaction, and your interest in Affiliate Marketing must have stemmed from a "why". I'll tell you now, if that why isn't good enough, you will not succeed in Internet Marketing. You might not figure out your why immediately, but this has to be answered if you want to get started in Internet Marketing and never stop. Who knows, you might not really be saying, "I want to be an Internet Marketer", but more something similar, like "I want I want to work from home." Figure out your why.

If you've figured out your why, congratulations. You now are almost impervious to quitting IM. Guess what? 97% of Affiliate Marketers fail. They didn't have a strong enough reason to do IM and thus couldn't even figure out how to get started in Internet Marketing. You are lucky, however to have stumbled across this article. I can't guarantee you'll succeed, but I'll make it damn hard for you to quit.

Secondly, you are now interested. You're definitely saying "I want to be an Affiliate Marketer" and are eager to find out as much as you can about Internet Marketing. Great, interest is like a leech; the more you learn, the more it grows and the hungrier it gets. So, what is the next step on how to get started in Affiliate Marketing? How do you possibly feed that giant, starving leach?

Step number 3 is Learn! Or more what I'd like to call initiative to learn. Don't be lazy and ask someone to teach you, go out and find the information yourself! You can't possibly say "I want to be an Affiliate Marketer" and not even know what Internet Marketing is. Google is going to be your best friend and your worst enemy if you're an Internet Marketer. How to get started in Affiliate Marketing? Seriously, just Google the term "Affiliate Marketing". If that didn't occur to you, maybe your initiative in step 2 isn't solid enough yet.
