How to Get People to Join Your Business - What Are You Going to Accomplish to Help Your Recruits?

If you don't aim for the moon, you won't even be able to hit a tree. If you don't know where you're going, how will you know when you get there? When you talk to folks about joining your home-based business, do you understand exactly what you're drawing them into? You must understand your business well enough to communicate it to a prospect.

You have to know what your downline needs to reach their next promotion level. You have to understand the compensation plan good enough to help them comprehend it. Other than that you can refer them to an internet address of the compensation plan and let folks study it for themselves. If your company has minimums, that's all some folks will work towards. But they really need to understand the stepping stones to each level and what each requires. You can't explain that to them unless you first understand it.

You should be building more than you need for each level (sales and recruits), because attrition happens. A little buffer is always nice.

With the new internet techniques, there are some who run prospects through a capture page to get on an email list. They develop a relationship with them on the email list and hopefully they sign up for their work at home opportunity while they are going through an email series.

There are some folks who say you that you can't build a business through emails and autoresponders. But the fact is there are folks that do. Relationship is important, only success ranks higher. Even if you can recruit and sell your product without any contact, when the recruits come on board you've got to take time to get to know them and find out what they need to know to be successful. After a while you'll develop a system to plug them into.

Even using more recent internet techniques you still have to develop a relationship with your team. You have to meet with them. If your team is across the United States or international you can do phone conferences or webinars.

Not everyone you sponsor is going to be a leader. Take advantage of when your enthusiasm is high, go out and talk to people. Making mistakes is okay. If you do something badly long enough you'll learn how to do it right. It's more important that you do it, than if you do it right. If you take time to do things perfectly you'll never get much done.

Keep track of your progress. Put your progress on some kind of chart so that you can "see" it. Do you know the different folks in your organization and how close they are to their next promotion. You need to keep track of that. You need to cheer the folks on under you. Do you know what you have to do for the next month, your goals? Write them out.

You are not in this to grow it by yourself. If you are thinking like this you don't understand leverage. A few key sponsored people are going to make it happen. Don't try to be and do it all yourself. If you are not good at something, say speaking in public or computer skills, sponsor someone who is.

Sponsoring or recruiting can be done anywhere. Be careful how to think about things. Don't buy into the thinking that it has to be done in a certain location. Whether you live in the city, country or where ever; there is a way to sponsor. You can look at it in one or two ways. Either these people can't afford to buy your product take advantage of your opportunity or you can look at it that they can't afford not to do this. When the desire is there, people will find a way.

When you develop systems to get leads and they start to flow, prospects will come out the other end. Some of the prospects will be customers and some will be partners. It might not happen overnight, but it will happen. You have to get your home-based business opportunity and/or product in front of as many people as possible. This is where the internet comes in. There is no other way to touch the number of people that you can on the internet. You should be talking to at least 10 people a day if you're not using the internet. It takes activity to make things happen.

Get your pipeline full and market to your pipeline. This is a tad old school thinking. The internet strategy would be, get your autoresponder full and market to your list. Make notes and get back to people on a repeated basis. Follow up is very important. Be organized, develop a system to remind or prompt you to contact people back.

You want to be attracting people to you not chasing them down. How you conduct yourself is so very important. You want them to recognize that you have something that they want. People are attracted to you as you see yourself. Control what you are focusing on during the day. A lot of stuff goes on during the day both good and bad. Concentrate on the good. Be the person that looks at the positive. Attraction begins with you. What can I learn from what's going on. You want to be in the coaching process and not in the selling process.

Look at the management team that you are going to work with. Develop yourself. What is your attitude for life? What are your goals? Put them in writing. Where are you going and work on it. Do some reprogramming in your head. Get some or write down some affirmations. I'm the kind of person that people like to be around Etc.

Think about your commitment to reach your goals. Focus on goals to reach every day.
