Fixing your XBox takes a little investigating

You need to find out what is happening in there so you can repair it.  Are there lights flashing?  If so, you need to count the number of lights, because they can all mean something different.  Four lights can mean a cable issue or a power surge.  Try checking cables and re-plugging in your system. 

Three lights can mean either a hardware issue or a power supply problem.  Check to see what color light is on your box.  If it is red, orange or not on, you can try a different outlet or you might need a new power supply box.  When two lights are flashing, try letting your system cool down for a few hours it could be just a cooling issue. 

One light flashing could be a simple cable not being connected properly or if there is a code flashing you might need it to give to customer service when you call.
