Clogged toilet is a problem we all want to avoid. The knowing how to deal with clogged toilet can save you lot of money and frustration. There are lots of tools in hardware stores that will assist you in fixing your toilet. The blockage can be solved with simple tools such as plunger, rag and even closet hanger.

When it's come to clogged toilet, the plunger is the most useful tool to use. A toilet plunger has a flange shaped to fit the bottom the clogged toilet bowl, this special shape sealing the pipe and produce vacuum inside the pipeline. The high pressure will remove almost everything that is blocking the toilet. Using the toilet plunger is very simply, all you have to do is to put it inside your and than move it forwards and backwards. Repeat this movement several times until the blockage is cleared.

If you don't have a plunger, you can also try using a rag to unclog your toilet. The principle is the same as the first method. Roll it to a ball shape and put it inside the toilet until you block the bottom of the toilet completely. Than use your hands to pump it like a plunger until the block is open. Using this techniques can be very messy and don't work efficiently as the plunger.

Metal Closet hanger can also be handy to fix your toilet. Simply form a hook shape in the end of the hanger and put it inside the toilet. This will help the hanger to navigate through the S shape toilet pipe to the blockage area and release it.

If you still can not solve the clogged toilet situation by yourself, it's the time to call a professional plumber. Sometimes the problem is much complicated such as multiple blockages and broken pipes.
