Every day when you turn on your television, you will see commercials for weight loss plans. You will see the same in magazines that you read, newspapers, billboards, and hear about it on radio commercials. These types of plans are everywhere you look, and there are many of them.

How can you determine which plan is right for you, and which is the most effective? The truth is that if a program allows you to eat, and encourages exercise, it will work - in this sense, they are all effective. But they are only effective for as long as you can stick to them.

NutriSystem, Jenny Craig, and other companies like these in the diet industry understand the importance of eating healthy and never feeling deprived in order to lose weight and keep it off. Any diet that restricts your food intake to the point that you are hungry, or never allows you to have the foods that you crave cannot be considered effective, because you cannot possibly stick to it for any real length of time.

So, when you are comparing weight loss plans, look to see what foods you are allowed to eat with the program, and go with the program that allows you to eat the foods that you love the most. This will be the most effective program for you - although it may not be the most effective for your best friend or your sister. Eating, and loving the foods that you eat, are essential to healthy weight loss.
