Are you just starting out and are looking for a simple and easy way to create your own web site, but are just a bit lost and not sure what to do or how it works?
Well only a few months ago I was in the same boat as you may be now. I was searching and surfing the internet trying to find the best source of training and knowledge I could find at, of course the lowest possible price - free.
So, how do you create an affiliate website without good training and understanding, Well real training and help really is not free. There are plenty of free resources on the internet, but you need to be very disciplined and able to sort through all the tons of information you need to begin creating the web site you want and to learn how to market the products you are trying to sell. The good news is though if you find the right one, then normally decent training is not too expensive, depending on what and how much you need.
After a few months I came to the realization that I really needed help I looked around for some decent training, courses and found lots of different systems, which all claimed they could help me in what I wanted to achieve.
I found there were plenty of people out there looking to "help". Though there are quite a few who are, lets face it, cheats and swindlers.
There are lots of get rich quick schemes, some of which do work if you are lucky, but if you haven't got the experience or training you are just throwing your money away. The sites may be fantastic, the product may be superb, but without the marketing knowledge, you are not going to get anywhere.
The basis of any good affiliate marketer is to have your own web site(s) to promote the product(s) you want.
But before spending any money or putting anything online download a Web Site Creator. These are commonly known as WYSIWYG's - "What You See Is What You Get". These effectively mean that you don't need to become experts in computer languages to create a web site. Just open the software and start playing. One of the best free WYSIWYG's is Kompozer. Like anything there is a learning curve and there are several free training courses out there to show you how to use Kompozer. If anyone tries to sell you a training package for this software, unless it is very cheap and you find a lot of recommendations for it, I think it is best to avoid. The free training available for Kompozer for the basics is very good.
Working with a WYSIWYG editor is the best way to practice with how you are going to build a site.
Eventually when you decide to go online, buy a domain name and hosting, you should have a good idea how you want your site to look and you can either upload it from the pages you have created with your WYSIWYG or use the skills you have built up to use the hosts available editors, which normally include sites such as WordPress.
If this still sounds a bit daunting, a bit too much to understand, don't be put off. It actually is easier than you think, at least at the basic level. All you need are the basics to start.
If you don't have a clue about creating a website, finding the right training, whether through an eBook or video training course is essential. There are some good free eBook's and video available out there, which will show you the basics from the start and will have you creating your first website in no time. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of poor content also, but as long as they are free you don't lose anything but the time to check them out.
The main problem out there is while many marketing systems, video courses and eBooks claim to help even complete newbies many of them don't. It is a big wide world, marketing, and there is so much to learn and understand, there are very few that really take you by the hand and show you from the ground up. When you find that resource you will be on your way.
I have found my source and mentor and so will you, with due diligence and checking out their site and independent reviews, you will also find the right guide for you. I am still learning, and in this game I have come to understand that you are constantly learning. It's just taking those first steps that is the hardest part. I have found after just a month with my mentor that I am a lot more confident and assured and I now have a web site up and running and aim to have several others up and running soon too!
Ultimately at the beginning you can get the basics to create your own web site for affiliate marketing free from many different sources. Eventually, unless you are very skilled and good at sorting through information, you will need more structured training. The training will probably be one of the four things you will need to purchase to start in this business and it will be the most expensive. But compared to a business in the non internet world, real training on the net, when you find a trustworthy source can be a bargain.
The other three things, which cost, two as previously mentioned are a domain name, as in the name of the site where this article is written - EzineArticles.com, expect to spend from free for a .tk site to $10 for a .com, unless you want to purchase one on the re-seller lists, but that's a whole other article. Then you need hosting, this is the company that puts your site on the web. There are many good hosts and many different packages, shop around and see what package you feels suits you then check reviews of the hosts to see how good they are for affiliate marketing web sites.
The other definite cost for an affiliate marketer is an Auto-responder, these are used to hold and reply to subscribers on your list. This will cost a monthly fee, of about $20, but does not cost any more and you can create as many lists as you wish.
So for about a $15 start cost for your domain and host and about $50 per month for your Autoresponder and potential training, business starting costs online are very low. For such a low outlay, and the potential of a good income eventually, it is definitely worth a go.
Get out there sign up to a few marketing lists, get some freebies, but don't let it overwhelm you. pick a single area you are interested in at the start, learn to build your site and then the fun really begins
Good luck with your websites and hope to see you marketing in the future.
